Are you sure the emails are from Apple? They sound more like fake emails to me.
It looks legit and the redirects do seem to take me to the apple site for PW and login changes.
If you have changed your password, and yet you still receive these emails, which suggest that someone else has accessed your account, ask yourself how that person has repeatedly discovered your new password?

So you have clicked on a link within the email. Very unwise. "Looks legit" is not the same as "it is legit", especially as you have apparently followed a link in the email instead of going to a page you have chosen.
My suggestion is that you find your own way to Apple's site (do not click on the link in the email) and you change the password once again. After that, ignore what I still suspect are fake emails, designed to get your information out of you. However, you are welcome to question my opinion again, but if you do, what do you propose or suggest?

It looks legit ...
The mail you describe is totally NOT legit.
Pls review the following Apple document:
Here's the text of what I receive, similar every time. Apple logo in corner, functional hyperlinks to Apple website, correct brick and mortar address of Apple Canada at bottom of page:
Dear <my name here>, Your Apple ID, <my Apple ID here>, was just used to download Lost Jewels - Match 3 Puzzle from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID. |
If this is phishing, it's pretty well done. Thanks for the responses, I hope this clarifies what I am talking about.

I don't know what to say!
Honestly, I don't know how Apple works or what the issues are. Itunes is the only Apple product I own. If you're trying to suggest this is illegitimate email, why not just say that instead of being a keyboard commando there, fiend?
I did take your earlier advice and change the PW once again by directly going to apple's website.
From my first response to your post...
They sound more like fake emails to me.
It has nothing to do with "how Apple works".
Thanks for the insight. So much for Apple's oft-claimed invulnerability to spam, hacking, phishing, etc. I'm used to such crap over here in the PC world. I get a "security message" every couple days from banks I don't have accounts at, for example. Apple always seems to claim they handle this stuff better.
Looks like I can blissfully ignore future communication of this type, too. That makes me feel better, today 😎
Is this website legit (this is where the notification about my (previously non-existant) "account" keeps redirecting me to)?
