ios 7.0.4 Update battery issue again!

I just did the update and after I unplugged from charging overnight my battery drained over 50% in a 1/2 hour on standby!!!! Why does this garbage continue to happen? Anyone else having this issue. FYI, before update I had everything turned off to save battery life so no stranger to the ios7 battery issue but thought it was not going to happen with an update.

So I thought I had the battery issue fixed but I guess not! I reset all settings the. Drained the battery all the way down and left it on the charger overnight. For the past few days the battery meter seemed more accurate and didn't drop down in large chunks. This was all fine and dandy as long as I was connected to wifi... I went outside and used LTE and I have full signal. After a few minutes of general browsing the meter began to drop off in large chunks again!! Something tells me there is something really screwed up with how ios 7 reads the power drainage coming off of the battery on the lte. And it's using way more than before to boot!! I turned my phone off with 17% remaining when I turned it back on it said 24%. And now it's draining normally now that I'm back on wifi. I really hope 7.1 will give me back my battery! I'm using i5 ios 7.0.4.

For me, almost 24 hours into 'normal battery.' I was out for 4-5 hours without wifi- just 4G and LTE. Since my charge last night, my battery is still 47%, so it has basically done a fully! normal 24 hour cycle for me and I still have almost half battery left.

Apple still needs to address and unscrew the problem for everyone...

Thanks for all the ideas guys, but none work for us.

Our phones are constantly using the cellular data whilst in standby, the battery only lasts 5 to 6 hours and the usage & standby times are almost identical.

If we turn off the data it stops! & the battery appears that it would last for ever. For some reason it does not use the Wi Fi to do what ever it is doing.

I am sure turning off some of the things you guys suggest will help & we will keep off all the stuff we don't use. There is a major issue with this update & it needs sorting quickly! my phone used to be brilliant but now it can not do what it says on the tin. Apple have replaced it under warranty because of this but this new phone is just the same.

We even thought we may have had a rogue app that was eating up data so we removed them all but it was not that either.

Waiting for a fix

I finally managed to solve the problem. I got out from Home Sharing in Music settings on all of my devices. Always i set another apple id in app store on my second iPhone. All is alright for me for 2 days. Finally, Yippee!!!

PS Thanks to apple support i restore my iPhones and iPad as a new before actions with home sharing, spending a lot of time to setup them and clearly install all the apps. But this actions did not help me.

I thank everyone for providing solutions to the issue of battery drain after updating to ios 7.0.4, But, truthfully, for the past ten days or so, I have been trying every singe solution for many times on my iPhone 5, 4s and 4 and iPad 2.

Unfortunately, non of them worked for me and the problem still presists on all my iphones and iPad 2.

I wish Apple consider this problem and provide a right solition as soon as possible.

Hello to all

I was going to post my problems here but you know what I can't be bothered!

My IT manager has posted all his problems & findings here but with no responce from Apple & please don't tell me that Apple do not monitor this.

I have 36 employees in my UK based IT business who all have phones & Pad's which are Apple They are all having an issue at the moment, If they use the mobile internet the battery dies, We will go Android or heaven forbid Windows if this is not sorted by the new year. We are not interested in turning off features that were once no problem to sort this, we want this to all work as it was when we bought the equipment. This equipment acording to trading standards law in the UK is, & I quote "NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE" Oh did I mention I have a legal department too?
