Hi there...I just uploaded my first podcast episode today. yay.
I noticed the name of the podcast came out wrong. I changed it at Libsyn and Feedburner, and tried to resubmit it on iTunes, but got an error msg, saying the file was already submitted.
Can anyone help?

Hey Sandy,
The podcasts listed in iTunes reflect what is in the feed. To update the iTunes Store listing, you just need to update the contents in the podcast feed. To update the name of the podcast, simply update the <title> tag accordingly.
What is the feed URL?
The feed url is http://feeds.feedburner.com/HealingConversationsPodcast Is that the one you were referring to?
And the image isn't there either. (I just uploaded the podcast this afternoon)
Where are the tags you're referring to? oh god, I feel so dumb!! :/
The title of your podcast is 'Healing Conversations...with Sandy Alemian' - that is what is in the 'title' tag and what shows in the Store: and also in the image. If that isn't what you want it to be please post back.
The image which appears in the Store usually takes some days to show in a new podcast. However, it's referenced in the 'itunes:image' tag and yours reads"
<itunes:image href="Healing_Conversations.png" />
and this won't work. You must give the full URL including the http:// and the server name. This applies to any URL in a feed (your media file URL is correct).

Yes, I see the title changed now...(I'd changed it in Feedburner)
How do I access the image tag?? Is that in my feedburner acct? Or Libsyn?

If you have 'Smartcast' enabled for the image in Feedburner it's there, otherwise it's in Libsyn.
Sandy - The title will be overwritten by Feedburner - so that is where you need to manage the title.
You should turn off smartcast and tracking of stats in feedburner - and just manage your artwork and iTunes tags in libsyn.
In your libsyn UI - click on "Destinations" at the top - and then on the left click on "Libsyn Classic Feed" you will then see on the right the iTunes elements. Make sure you have something selecting for iTunes category. And fill in the other info.
For the artwork - that is managed from the Gears icon in the upper left.

Hi Robert...I did all that...thank you so much. The title is great now. 🙂 And as for the artwork, it's showing up perfectly in Lisbyn. I'm not sure what Roger was referring to about my image tag...I still have no idea where to find that...
Do you think it's just a matter of waiting? I just posted this first podcast yest. around noon.

Please post the URL of your Libsyn feed.

One issue with your artwork is that it is over 500 kb in file size - and lately that has been causing issue in iTunes.
Please reduce your artwork and to under 500 kb - while leaving the rest of the specs - 1,400 x 1,400 pixels as is.
Then upload the new artwork with a new file name to your libsyn account - Call the new artwork

So we can confirm the new artwork is making it through.
You will also need to make changes to your Feedburner feed - as it is now failing.
The issues with your feedburner feed - have to do with you having selected the smartcast feature and putting in the URL for the image there. Turn that off.
If your feed has not been submitted and accepted at iTunes - I would recommend not using feedburner at all. It is just something that will cause you issues in the long run as there is no gaurentee that Google is going to support it forever - plus there are other issues with feedburner. You are just best off using your libsyn feed and not messing with Feedburner.
