Ipad Mini Retina - Yellow Screen

I bought an Ipad Mini Retina last night. I have noticed the bottom 1/3 of the screen has a yellowish tint, especially when the background page is white. Is this normal?

Mine = 64gb space grey mini with retina : has yellow tint on bottom screen.

Noticed it was slightly off colour couple wks ago especially on a white background. Such as if I'm using the notes app or the kobo reading app.

Not sure if it's getting worse or if my eyes are just noticing it more but it seems to be getting more distinguished.

Especially if I'm reading on the app the top of the page is bright white and I can see a yellow tone at the bottom and by time I read the bottom there's a definite difference in the background tone.

Showed my other half but he can't see it at all but took it into store today and the guy at Genius Bar confirmed it has a definite yellow tint. They didn't have any 64gig in store but have ordered one in for a replacement.

It gives my keyboard a sepia tone and then when I flip it round so that the yellow is at the top my keyboard is bright white!!

Let's hope next one is better at £479 you'd expect a quality product!!

It's normal I changed my ipad mini nearly 9 times now and whatever u do it will have a slight yellow tint at he bottom of the screen and if u do find a magic one with no yellow tint u will be left with a lot of back light and screen bleeding on a dark background at night, looks like apple have a lot to fix for the new mini retina

This is what I have been seeing. I noticed that the one with crisp white have some backlight bleeding (and I had to get those exchanged for a brand new one, since I am within the 14 day return/exchange period). I have an ipad mini with retina display, I think the entire screen is a bit yellow tint (maybe it's just my eyes), and it's not like what other is describing where half of the screen is white and the other half is yellow, but this one does NOT have any backlight bleeding so I decided to keep this one.
