I need to know what are the GPS coordinates of a given location, found (and pinned) in Apple Maps. I need these data in order to insert them in an external device (Garmin GPS Automotive).

Easy Method works in Maps and Mavericks.
1 Drop Pin
2 Share to Messages
3 Ctrl click on the word 'Map' in messages.app and then select 'Open'.
The co-ordinates will now appear in the search field of Apple Maps.

That worked great on the MacBook, but is there a similar way to do this on an iPhone or iPad? I wasn't able to use your instructions to obtain GPS coordinates for these devices.
