iTunes rental movie upgrade to purchase?

If you rent a movie from iTunes store, before the 24-hour period expires, can you upgrade it to a purchase?



Never mind, I've seen a number of other answers of 'No'.


Too bad, I really liked the last movie I rented, but policies like this drive home how much Apple doesn't really seem to care about their customers.


I was very close to buying an Apple TV, but now, not so much. Apple's loss is NetFlix's gain.

No, you will still need to pay the full purchase price for buying it, there isn't a discount for having rented it. You could try leaving feedback for Apple and maybe onle day it will be : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html
