I don't want my contacts on the cloud... it's a security thing.

MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mavericks (10.9)

MacWorld and Christopher Breen just don't get it....$20 for another iCloud solution???? I guess these trolls and characters have one agenda, give up all your data to their iCloud service and why not even pay for it. The FRAUD and agenda is very clear! Anyone here who is of sound mind please chime in if you have a direct Mac to iPhone contact sync solution hard wired with no Internet intervention. Since APPLE took it away there needs to be another solution. Thanks

Calm the paranoia.

You have to sync all calendars & contacts before you are able to highlight single ones. Without the initial sync the Mac doesn't know what data is on the device. After the sync you can select the individual items. This has been said by many people in the forums.

Why are you surprised data packets are moving when you connect two devices by USB and iTunes?
