My father and I are both on the same apple account under his email. I'd like to sync my iphone calendar to my macbook calendar automatically -- which I do not know how to do. On top of that, I'd like to keep my calendar dates separate from my fathers. How do I make my iPhone calendar dates transfer to just my macbook, and not his iphone or calendars?
I've been trying to figure this out for hours.

You will want to create your own icloud account. You can still use the same account for purchases, but for icloud (the syncing service you are looking for) you would would need a seperate account to keep your data seperate.
