Different colored areas on my 5S LCD unit! Some issue like on the new iPad air...

I was so lucky to get an split colored 5S LCD unit, rest of the phone is, lets say, OK... (Rattle, rattle...)

Im experiencing the same problem like the iPad air users on this board... The home button side is nice and white but the ff camera side is ugly yellowish! Im going to the apple store these days and give it back... Hopefully without complaining from the employees... Seems so to be very common these days at apple stores, especially here in Germany!

Seriously, why isn't it possible to buy an Apple Product "without" these screen problems? Its really a hard time to get a flawless device just like they present so proudly on their pictures and videos at the apple website! Its near impossible in case of the iPhone 5S...

Lucky me, i bought it cash from apple store and are within the 14days... Other customers are doomed, ie.: Carrier customers etc. because they will get probably nothing from apples store or a messy refurbished exchange for their brand new issued iPhone.

Please, good lord! Whats up with this?

Had the same problem, I'm on my 4th or 5th 5S now, I lost count. They all have had to some varying degree the ugly ****-yellow horizontal band at the top edge of the screen, most noticeable when browsing the web in portrait mode. I finally got a replacement without the yellow band (or at least almost without it), but the whole upper right quadrant of the screen is dimmer than the other parts and the light bleed is ridiculous on the bottom edge. I'm so sick of having to back up and restore though. Argh.

Got my phone exchanged to a new sealed retail box today, due to having less time and the full store i picked it un opened home to try my luck... Sadly this unit uneven volume buttons, ofcourse a rattling sleep button PLUS a big white dot (backlite bleed?) in the middle of the screen! Also a little yellow tint... Im so sick of this! Will exchange it tomorrow again! What is this BULL...t

I've found that the buttons rattle on just about all of them. It doesn't bother me that much, the screen is more important. All of them have been perfect EXCEPT for the screen.

The one I'm on now is ALMOST perfect. It doesn't have as much yellowing at the top but the whole rest of the screen is messed up, the upper right quadrant is darker than the rest of the screen and there are these weird color casts at different points on the display. Upper right is yellow, upper left is pink. Jesus Christ man I'm going to go postal I swear.

Just want to tell you ppl here again, im since day one on the iPhone 5S. Buyed it direct from Apple Store Germany... I tried out every color and opened up only sealed brandnew units! I sadly turned back 11 (yes, ELEVEN!!!) units due to all kinds of problems, from scrtches to loose uneven fitted front panel parts, faulty pixels and microphones that muffled up my voice... BUT MOST of them due to yellow tint on the LCD Display... And ALL of them had also the loose Buttons, on some even the volume Buttons are loose... The last replacements have all the uneven yellow and white screen Problem just like reported on the iPad air !

Different colored areas on my 5S LCD unit! Some issue like on the new iPad air...
