No. It does not have something to do with FCPX directly. That is why the question started with (OT) Off Topic.
Yes. It does have some thing to do with FCPX indirectly as these have become the cameras I shoot with.

Why do you need this Hour Meter for import into FCPX ? I think you should google JVC forum if this has nothing to do with FCPX. This forum is about problems and issues with FCPX.
Just got word that JVC removed the Hour Meter from the GY-HM150U.
