Im trying give an app permission to use my microphone. It says go to settings, privacy, microphone, then change access to yes. When i go into the microphone settings all I see is: "Applications that have requested access to the Microphone will appear here." How do I get the app to "appear here?"

Delete the app, then reinstall it and when you first open it and it asks for acess to mmicrophone click yes
I tried that, it never asks for permission. It just goes straight into the app and asks to sign in. Then when I do that, and actually try to use the app, I get the "go to settings" message.
Try going into setting one more time, then do a hard reset ** holding down the lock button and home button at the same time till phone turns off then start it up again

I just restarted it and its the same. It doesnt ask permission, it just says "Microphone access required go to settings..."
If they are no apps tat request it, no apps need it.
No. Its google hangouts. It needs a microphone.
Try restarting phone, but first actually try entering a hangout and see if it asks for permission
