You are absolutely right. I just tashed the app from the epson scanner sofware folder & no more alerts.
Thanks
To open any download that gives you the message about unidentified developer you can just hold the CONTROL KEY when you click & you will get an option to open it.
Thank you so much!
You are very welcome.
I have contacted Epson and Apple, both no help, it is Epson's fault that they didn't sign the .app so I sent them a request today telling them of the problem and lets see if they follow through.
Thanks Joel. Let's hope that does the trick.
Thx Joel, keep up the good work!
Thank you, Joel, for pursuing this with Epson.
BTW, I got an Epson software update today. Wouldn't it be great if that fixed the problem? We'll see.
I doubt that the version you received is newer as the version on their site is
Event Manager Utility v2.51.09
08/01/13 13.7 MB epson15457.dmg
Joel
You're right, Joel. The same problem is still occurring. Let's hope Epson comes up with something.
Many thanks Joel,
It solved my problem.

THANK YOU for getting the information from Epson. This has been bothering me for weeks !
Luisa
Your welcome glad I could help.
Thanks from me too. This was annoying to have to click "alloy" every time and solution from Epson worked.
Joel,
Hat doffed in your direction Sir!
Followed the instructions, however used the WF-3250 uninstaller, and all worked well. Annoying App 0-1 Our Man Joel.
Thanks
Mark
