I have the first generation of Cinema Display M8149 and it is still working beautifully! I need to upgrade now my first gen G4 and I am wondering if I buy a mini will the display work with it? If yes, do I need to buy the newest mini or could I buy a used or refurbished older mini and have the monitor still work. What adapter would I need? Thank you!

Hmmm..... Are you sure? My monitor is the acrylic material, first generation, not the aluminum version. I will be thrilled if you are correct! I just don't want to buy the mini if the monitor won't work with it.

You display has the Apple ADC connection/input. You will need to purchase an adopter that converts DVI from the Min (via the included HDMI to DVI adopter for the current Mini)
