Hello alat8101998

Try removing the music from your iPhone by unchecking the Sync Music in the Music tab and sync. Once removed, select the options again and sync to see if that changes things. If that does not work, then drag and drop the music to your iPhone to sync as well. You can also try to convert the songs that are not making it over to a different format and then sync.

What i found out with this error is that some tracks/CDs had bad artwork. It took a while to find the faulty tracks as the sync would cancel at haphazard places. Once identified, I deleted the artwork and redownloaded or re-added it. Then I could drag and drop onto my ipod touch without error. I would drag and drop in chunks of 100-200 tracks in case I found another problem track. It took a while to load 8,000+ tracks, but was able to.

Cheers,

Chris

This turned out to be the problem for me. I'd recently added 10 or so songs, and the sync would always cancel at the same point... so I opened the source MP3s one by one in Windows Media Player. Lo and behold, one track had embedded art that wasn't appearing in iTunes! Deleted that track, and the sync went fine.

Thanks for the tip - much frustration was avoided, I REALLY wasn't looking forward to waiting for all ~3000 of my tracks to be synced again after a reset! :-)

I checked out several different threads on this forum. The nearest I could deduce was "bad artwork" on one of my tracks. That very nearly explained why itunes was arbitrarily cancelling sync after about 12 or 13 tracks. What I did that worked: I found the track with the bad art (it was a partially loaded album cover in the artwork box.) I deleted the artwork from that track. As a failsafe I also put my iphone into airplane mode, deselected "sync music" from the music tab in my iphone section of itunes. I then synched my iphone. This deleted all music tracks from my iphone. I then re-selected and re-synced the tracks, playlists, etc. with no further problem.
