Radeon X850xt

I am decomissioning an old PC which has an ati radeon x850xt video card (AGP version). Could I place this in my Powermac G5 since it uses AGP also? I have seen that they sell a mac version of this card and wondered if it is the same as the PC version just with different drivers. Any help is appreciated.
