Desktop icons appear on the wrong monitor

I upgraded to OS X Mavricks and now my desktop icons(like the hard drive icons) appear on the secondary display instead of the main display(the one with the Dock). Before upgarding they used to show up on the right side, right next to the Dock. This is very annoying.Seems like a bug.

Is there a way to choose which display the icons will appear on? Is there some setting for this or is this a known issue?

Here is a screenshot of what I'm talking about. Dock is on the right monitor, icons on the left monitor. T_T

Didn't work. But I found that when I sort icons by "None" or "Snap to Grid" I can get them to show up on the right side, next to the Dock. But my goal is to sort them by "Kind" or "Name" and still have them stay on the right side like they did in OS X Lion.

Also if I take a screenshot it still appears on the left screen, even if items are sorted by "None". 😢
