trying to uninstall drobo dashboard

trying to uninstall drobo dashboard

Hi,

I am wanting to uninstall drobo dashboard from my macbook pro - mavericks. Following drobo's instructions I go into the library/app support/data robotics and double clik the uninstall app, enter in my admin password and I get the followin errors

TM: 0x102c93000 11\26 15:08:56 Error - NetUDPSocket::Shutdown: got error 57 shutting down socket 9

All I want to do is uninstall the app because I no longer own the drobo, its been sold.

How do I remove this? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey scookum,

I would follow these recommended steps for uninstalling the application:

To uninstall other apps, drag the app to the Trash (located at the end of the Dock), then choose Finder > Empty Trash.
If you change your mind, before emptying the Trash, select the app in the Trash, then choose File > Put Back.

Warning: When you empty the Trash, the app is permanently removed from your Mac. If you have any files that you created with the app, you may not be able to open them.

Hi Delgadoh

Thanks for responding. I did try that but this app apparently can only be installed by using the uninstall app in the library. After using the uninstall app I get the above error and it won't uninstall.

No, you should not just drag it to the Trash. Please follow the developers uninstall instructions here (you may now have to reinstall it just to uninstall it properly.

Pete, yes I followed the instructions on drobo but I'm getting the above error and it won't let me uninstall.
