My Disk space in Macbook Air is running out, can I have an option to have a hard disk upgrade?

There are several larger HDA modules that will work. Apple will not do the upgrade for you. You'll need to either contact a third-party repair service that will perform this upgrade, or purchase an hDA, and do the repair yourself.

The OP asked a legitimate question and you go into full on, condescending overload and proceed to lecture about how he's doing it wrong - with limited background information.

Holy crap you're full of it! Seriously what's the weather like on your planet? But wait - you're a level 6. Stand back everyone!

I love Apple but these discussion boards are the worst and most of these "high level" contributers create a really bad impression.

I completely agree with heligo9.

PlotinusVeritas: we did not ask for a lecture on data management, backups and all the rest of it. The thread asks for a specific answer to a specific question and you are throwing around irrelevant responses that are OFF SUBJECT. Unless you have a helpful answer to the question posed, stand down please - with all due respect.

Go here and see if your MBA is one that OWC has an upgrade for. If it isn’t or if your budget doesn’t match their prices you’ll have to look at alternatives. I didn’t like the idea of carrying around an external drive - frankly its absurd to carry one around for daily use. (Taking an external drive on a road trip is another matter entirely.) My choice today would be the JetDrive. If you scroll further down the page you’ll find the Nifty Drive which was my choice a year ago. Yes, 128 or 64GB may not hold all your music (certainly doesn’t hold all mine) but it lets me carry a nice selection and I swap the music around every month or so.

You went to the wrong place from the very beginning. They are not helping you. They teach you, mentor you. They are preachers. If you don't know data management and data protection in their way, or you know but just don't do their way, you are not a legitimate modern tech user. You don't know computer, you idiot.

They keep mentoring you by saying "you should", "you should not"...

What I want to say to them is, you SHOULD NOT "help" people this way.

Then what do you suggest?
