No. You need a computer with iTunes and an internet connection.

Put the device in recovery mode:

Then hold the home button for ten more seconds.

Did you get the right program? RecBoot is only for the PC (windows) and there are tow versins of TinyUmbrells, one for a Mac and the other for a PC

The you are not following the instructions for installing the program. I have install both programs on my PC and TinyUmbrella on my Mac with no problems.

Which one are you trying to install any what OS is on the computer?
