The touch screen doesn't work during charging
I assume it's not right. The touch screen doesn't work sometimes when charging. It's iPhone 5S. Any one has the same problem?

I've been having the same issue for a while now and I never knew what it really was beacause I only use original chargers and I have tried with 3 different ones and the same result, sometimes it just goes crazy and sometimes it doesn't but right now I remove the case while being plugged in and it worked fine, then I put it back and the problem returned.... so what's exactly the issue? I think apple should do something about this issue
This issue started when I began using a non Apple charger, simply fixed by using the charger that came with the iPhone 5C
I have a 5C since October 2014 with no problem, always using the original charger, and from time to time a power-bank. Yesterday I noticed the touch screen to be erratic when charging with the original charger. Now, when I connect it to the laptop (USB charging) the touch screen is very slow or unresponsive.
Got a brand new iphone5S and have the same problem. Original charger with a Plastic / silicone case that completely isolates the phone. Touching the metal part (and creating the earth) works, albeit still not seamlessly. Don't know why this should be an issue as the plugged in state should be earthed via the cables and the electrical network and surely if it was an earth problem, the screen would not work at all in the "isolated" case unless it was earthed via the charging cables??
A massive design flaw / oversight or a faulty charger???
This helped me, though mine won't work while charging with any kind of case on it. Is there any chance you know why?
Amazing how after 2 years of this known problem, it still happens with my iPhone 6.
That was not helpful at all and it almost feels like you didn't bother to read all the other posts on this page.
I have this exact problem on my iPhone 6 Plus. Apparently it is related to the charger used. Disappointing that Apple doesn't correct this issue because it makes the phone unusable when plugged in and Apple can't expect every customer to use their specific brand of charger when their chargers and cables fail so often and so quickly.

I had exactly the same problem with various chargers and phones. I figured out the problem down to the bones. All information is here.
I would be happy if you give me a response about what you think about my article.

Just wanted to add that I have had this problem with a 5th Gen iPod touch and thanks to this question/answer have gotten to the bottom of it. It wasn't actually the cable that was causing the problem, but the transformer block that I had it plugged into (USB socket on block that then plugs into the wall). I guess it must be to do with the correct voltage being supplied or something. Anyway, when I swapped for an Apple one it worked again fine.
i bought an iphone SE last week, and when i plug it to my mac, the touchscreen becomes abnormal..
IOS 10.0.2 Iphone SE 64GB
Thanks it worked
Yeah, mine too
But it only occured when I put the case on or puting it down on a surface
So how to fix this?
I have the same problem here too, its an iPhone SE the problem happens everytime i plug in my phone
thanks man! never thought of this one, dang, it's just the leather jacket causing the problem
