The touch screen doesn't work during charging

I assume it's not right. The touch screen doesn't work sometimes when charging. It's iPhone 5S. Any one has the same problem?

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.3

I've been having the same issue for a while now and I never knew what it really was beacause I only use original chargers and I have tried with 3 different ones and the same result, sometimes it just goes crazy and sometimes it doesn't but right now I remove the case while being plugged in and it worked fine, then I put it back and the problem returned.... so what's exactly the issue? I think apple should do something about this issue

Got a brand new iphone5S and have the same problem. Original charger with a Plastic / silicone case that completely isolates the phone. Touching the metal part (and creating the earth) works, albeit still not seamlessly. Don't know why this should be an issue as the plugged in state should be earthed via the cables and the electrical network and surely if it was an earth problem, the screen would not work at all in the "isolated" case unless it was earthed via the charging cables??

A massive design flaw / oversight or a faulty charger???

Just wanted to add that I have had this problem with a 5th Gen iPod touch and thanks to this question/answer have gotten to the bottom of it. It wasn't actually the cable that was causing the problem, but the transformer block that I had it plugged into (USB socket on block that then plugs into the wall). I guess it must be to do with the correct voltage being supplied or something. Anyway, when I swapped for an Apple one it worked again fine.
