Just Wireless Charger

Early today the lightning charger that came with my ipod broke, so I went up to the local Target and bought a new one. It is a Just Wireless USB Cable with a Lightning Charger. The box says that it is certified by Apple to be used on Apple devices. After I had got back to my room, I took it out of the box and tried charging my iPod with it. My iPod is currently dead, but it keeps telling me that it isn't connected to a charger. I have tried several different outlets and my computer and none are working. Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?

Just what is the device you purchased?

Is it just a cable?

Not Charge

- See:

iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting

- Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.

- Try another charging source

- Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.

- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
