Is the Apple warranty internationally recognised?
If I puchase an iPad in the US and bring it to my residence in the UK can it be repaired in the UK under the Apple warranty?

Possibly not, especially if it's a cellular model - from here :
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.
