After updating my iPad, the screen orientation will not stay on horizontal . It was working fine before the update. Any suggestions?

Some have reported success by going into the settings and 'reset all settings'
You will need to retweak your device because it puts everything back to factory defaults.

The reset settings worked for my IPhone that was updated to IOS 9.2. I wonder what setting was causing the problem? Has Apple identified the culprit?
