How do I get my I phone 5c to sync with my 2011 ford escape

I need to know how to sync my I phone 5c with my 2011 ford escape.

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.4

You first need to put the vehicle Bluetooth into discovery/pairing mode. Use the owner's manual for the car to find out how. Then go onto the phone, go into Settings and turn on Bluetooth. This puts the phone into discovery/pairing mode. The two devices should see each other. The vehicle owner's manual should tell you if there is a Pin number for you to enter to complete the connection.
