FATAL error
I keep getting FATAL:: unable to process your request please try again everytime we try to download a new app on all of our devices, I even changed our password. any ideas what I can do to fix

I'm getting that message on my iphone5, too. I changed my password, to no avail. I can sign in on my MacBook, though.
I'm getting the error as well on all of my devices. I can log into the web based apple store, but not the iTunes one or anything else. I'm on hold with tech support at the moment to see if anything can be done. I'll post another reply if I learn anything.
I have seen a few posts reporting that it's a problem on their end, so this might very well be the case.
I am getting this message, too. As well, it keeps telling me I have been inputting my password incorrectly "several times" and ordering me to retrieve it before I can continue. This is after starting iTunes for the first time in days and before I even attempted to do anything.
I have already reset my password 3 times tonight..... And still cannot do anything.

I'm getting the same issue as everyone in the thread, changed password multiple times and still unable to download from itunes and getting the Fatal Msg.... good to know that its just not me.
getting the same message ..can't update anything, buy apps or music ...ugh!!!!!!
I just finished speaking with tech. support and I would recommend calling them if you are having this issue to report it. They are only aware of a few of us with the problem and have assured me that they are looking into it, but I'm sure it would help if others reported their issue as well.

same here Apple ID causes Fatal Error on all devices Apple TV, Iphone 5s and Ipad Air. reset password 3 times to no avail.
Same issue here. Coming up with new original passwords is becoming a chore.
me too .i thought it was me...okay i am going about my business and hope apple fixes bc i wanted to download some music but can't get into itunes
Same problem here...can't download songs and I keep getting the same FATAL message. I tried contacting apple tech support online, and they do not have 24/7 tech service, and they are already closed! They also do not have tech support chat online. Very disappointing for what their products cost!
Try again tomorrow. Clearly a segment of users are having this issue. Usually these things get cleared up within 24 hours. Don't waste your time changing your passcode or resetting things. Again, it will probably all be sorted tomorrow.
