Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When I hold down the shift key at the boot screen a loading bar appears. It loads until 1/3 and my iMac reboots into normal mode.
My iMac is brandnew (Late 2013), Mavericks, 3TB Fusion Drive.
Please help! 😟

For what it is worth, check your firmware version here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1237 and update as required. It hasn't fixed my issue yet though since I can't get to safe mode with the shift key and Option-Command (⌘)-P-R still does the same as Command (⌘)-R, but at least I removed that posibilty from the equation....
I can't boot into Safe Mode!
