What ereader can I use with iPod touch version 6.1.6 and sync with iBooks version 7?

iPod Touches can also use iBooks. However iBooks cannot sync with other books that don't use iBooks. (such as Android devices.)
It isn't letting me download it. It's an older ipod and says I can't update to ISO 7.
If you cannot get iBooks, then you could consider the Nook app and get ebooks from Barnes & Noble, the Kindle app and get ebooks from Amazon.
But without the iBook reader, you will not be able to be able to read DRM'ed ebooks from Apple's ebook store.
ShuBook is an ereader that works with DRM free ePub ebooks.
Searching the App Store for ebook readers will find other readers.
It depends upon the format you want to read. What format do you want to read? As you know you can't install iBooks on yur iPod.
