Hi I have a Toshiba LCD TV and neither my Apple TV or MacBook Pro will connect with it. I have checked that the HDMI cables are working and that the settings in the TV are all enabled for the cable ports.
Has anyone experienced this issue with Toshiba and found a way to resolve it? (I have also emailed Toshiba support)

What is meant by the ATV will not connect? Is it plugged into the TV?
What shows on the TV?
Hi there,
It is all connected up using a HDMI cable and it does not show anything on the TV. With the MacBook I am just trying to use the TV as a projector screen and have tried the settings on Windows. The Apple TV does not show anything and should just connect automatically. It all works OK on another TV

Have to ask the obvious question, is the tv switched to the input that the ATV is connected to? This does not happen automatically.
No problem for asking the obvious question 🙂 Yes, I have tried each HDMI port and changed to the correct input. I also checked the TV settings and ensured each port is 'enabled'
Connect the ATV to another tv and see if it will display.
If that does not work, connect the ATV to a computer running iTunes and restore.

I have just discovered that there appears to be an issue with my HDMI ports as I have tested a TV box now and it is also not working. I have informed Toshiba and awaiting their response.
