2 disk into a macbook pro
The new macbook pro 15" have no DVD and the SSD is smaller than a normal hard disk , why isn't it possible to have 2 SSD inside ? one for APPs and one for time machine and/or storage ?

The MacBook Pro with Retina display has got flash storage because there is no space inside to put a SSD. Also, this MacBook Pro has only got one flash storage connector, so you cannot put two different flash storages. Note that SSDs do not fit inside.
To use Time Machine, it is much better to use an external drive. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1427
but before in the macbook pro was a DVD , where is this empty place ?
" To use Time Machine, it is much better to use an external drive"
no when travelling a lot I prefer a big 2To 2nd disk inside , there is no reason not to haveit in a supposed pro version
Good hardware information from mende1.
TimeMachine (and external clones for backup like CarbonCopyClone or SuperDuper!) backups *should always be* external drives. Backups are for when the system dies or disappears, so shuld be separate. Some people even rotate backps so that one copy is always offsite at a friend's house.
It has disappeared. Apple designs different logic boards for each Mac, replacing ports and connectors
I have a mac pro and 4 disk , one only for TM
TM should be in another disk of course but inside or outside doesnt matter
actually we have small devices and 10 things necessary all around , it is a nonsense, even the new mac pro is a no way for me , after mine I'll certainly never take a mac pro again
Optical drives are going away. And to make things thin you need to use "soldered" components (CPU, GPU, RAM, flash drives).
As to "internal backups" ... when someone steals your MBP you lose your backup. Same if the system is crushed under a car. WD (not the best drives, but may work lonrg enough to replace them every year) makes very tiny drives (2in x 2 in, 1/2 in thick) that are very portable for backups.
As to Apple being no longer an option, you may well find all makers either following the same path (tablets becoming more prominent, and the Microsoft Surface models -- flawed though they be in current implementation) is all away from big clunky tick heavy portables.
