The weather app on my iPhone defaults to Sun Valley not close to where I live how do I change this setting

The default weather app powered by Yahoo defaults to Sun Valley. Now maybe I am just nitpicking but I don't live anywhere near Sun Valley and would like to change the default setting. Unforunately I can only add locations and not delete them, am I missing something?

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4

Hey Duke189,

Thanks for the question. To delete a city from your Weather application:

Add a city or make other changes. Tap User uploaded file.

- Add a city: Tap the add button. Enter a city or zip code, then tap Search.

- Rearrange the order of cities: Touch and hold a city, then drag it up or down.

- Delete a city: Slide the city to the left, then tap Delete.

- Choose Fahrenheit or Celsius: Tap °F or °C.

Hey Duke189,

Thanks for the follow up and additional information. Is the city you are referring to at the top of the list, with a location icon next to the time? It sounds like this may be the local weather, which is based on your location services. If you wish to do so, you can disable this:

Turn local weather on or off. Go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services. See Privacy.

Otherwise, you may find more information by using another one of Apple's support resources - https://getsupport.apple.com

Thanks,
