iOS update erased my apps. Help me please!

I recently did the new 7.0.4 update on my phone and it deleted all of my apps and all of my back ups. Everything else, to my knowledge, is still in working order. When I go into the iCloud tab and click the storage/back up tab and go to manage storage it shows me all the apps that I should have from my last back up. It tells me to choose the ones I would like to back up they're all selected to be backed up but when I plug my phone up to my computer, and click restore back up, there aren't any back ups and it says that I haven't backed up my phone at all which isn't true. How do I fix this? Sugggestions anyone?

You will probably have to start over then.

If you're apps and other purchsed media are in your iTunes library, you can sync them back to your phone. Otherwise, you can redownload them again for free as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519. You wouldn't get your app data back, but you would at least get your purchased media back.
