I purchased an AAXA tech. p1jr and was wondering, How can I make it project my ipod 3rd gen out?

Here is an album of everything I've received, could anyone tell me if I have everything to get going? Am I missing something? This is for an ipod 3rd gen. I think I might be able to do it, or I'm just missing 1 piece?

Then it should work. Note that only the 5G iPod support mirroring via TV out. The device will not work with a 5G iPod. The TV out and thus the projector will only show video for apps that support TV out. The iPod's Video app does support TV out.

So, with my 3rd gen ipod I couldnt mirror out other apps? (Youtube app, Twitch.tv app). I could only use the ipod's video out app, and whatever is supported by that?

As lllaass said, the app you use will have to be specifically written to support video out. Check with the app's developer.

Ok, so if I had a 5g ipod touch, it would support mirroring out whatever is displayed on the ipod touch, as long as its hooked up to the projector?

But with the adopter you have it does not work with a 5G iPod. Also, some apps do not work with TV out on a 5G if the develper elected to not support TV out. Based on other posts in this forum, TV out is not supported by the YouTube app on a 5G iPod

It seems like a real pain in the neck to get the twitchtv app out onto a screen then... **** I might just move my TV into my room and hook my video card up to my tv and watch it through that.
