I want a flash drive or similar device that will transfer information from an older power mac g4 to my newer i mac…suggestions please. Power mac uses OSX 8.5.

Thanks for your help...I will try your sugestion.
I don't know if a modern iMac will recognize the disk in an Mac OS 8.5 machine? Haven't tried it. Defintely the way to try first though.
If that turns out to be a nonstarter, you could use a firewire drive of some kind (that's my favorite). I suppose it should be formatted as HFS +.
