Imovie 10.0.1 - how to get rid of ken burn effect in imported slides

Hi,

I work with the new version of I movie, and the "File/Properties remove Kenburn effect" as described in a previous discussion is not available anymore.

I have imported in Imovie pictures from Aperture and would like to do a slide show, but I do not want the kenburn effect because it is cropping some pictures at the wrong place. I have choosen Fit but it does not change anything. Could you please help.

Thanks

Hélène

Hi Hélène

Form iMovie's Menu, select "Edit > Select in iMovie > Photos". All photos in the project timeline will now be highlighted with a yellow border. Click on the Adjust button at the top right, just above the viewer. Now click on the Crop button that appears (along with other buttons/tools) below the Adjust button.

From the Crop panel that appears, click on Fit. All photos in the timeline should now remain static, that is, with no Ken Burns panning or zooming evident.
