feedback on the "reward" system

Any possibility to go back to giving individual points to people who help in a thread? This 2 helpful 1 solved thing is too darn stressful. Giving a few ++ to everyone who contributes something to fixing a problem is far better than trying to decide who should get the big payout of points. 😟

It also doesn't help that some people will go into a thread and point out that the OP hasn't given the big payout points.

Instead of it feeling like a way to say "hey thanks" or "this really solved my problem" I often feel like someone with unused baseball tix and too many deserving friends with spare time for the two available seats. 😟

Let's go back to individual +++

How many times I've gone into a thread and found an answer I needed, and no way to reward the person for it besides posting.

That's fine. Post a "Thank you! This helped me, too." This serves to bump the thread up to the top of the heap, where it is more likely to be noticed by others looking for help, so it's not totally without merit to do that.

If it's in one of my threads, you'll even get an answering, "Thanks for posting and letting us know that this has helped someone else."
