Over the past few days I can no longer play videos on the BBC website using my iPad. Instead, I get the error 'config error no response received'.
Anyone know what's happening?

Same problem here. Looks like it is an iOS7 issue since both my iPad and mini iPad were showing the BBC videos fine on Safari prior to the iOS7 upgrade. Now it is not working on both devices. I wonder where we should request to look into this, BBC or Apple?
Try restarting your iPad by pressing and hold in the sleep/wake button. Then slide to power off. After you restarted it. It could possibly work.

Same issue here mate. Which iPad is it for you? It's my ipad3 that stopped showing video. Btw it doesn't work on mercury either.
Did you upgrade to ios7? I haven't and I think it might b that, but I don't want iOS 7...
i'm using an iPad mini retina with ios7. there wasn't a problem about a week ago so it seems like it could be an issue with the BBC website rather than Apple.

I have the same issue on an iPad Retina, via Safari.
When I use the Photon browser in flash mode, the videos play fine, so it's some Adobe issue by the looks of it.
Completely aggravating. I follow English football, etc. and no suddenly, no video. I'll write to the BBC to inquire. I'm sure mNy others have already.
Looks like BBC has fixed the bug. Videos are now working on both iPad and iPad Mini. Thanks BBC....
