Outlook 2013 calendar sync to iphone not working
iPhone 5s, iOS 7
Will do. Luckily, there was a seven day free trial (full version of software) so I could make sure it worked before shelling out the bucks.
As you do your 7 day evaluation of this tool, if you could comment on the various issues discussed at https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ca3191f4-2c1e-4b52-a563-177877 a89ee8/is-outlook-icloud-syncing-hopelessly-kludgy?forum=outlook that would be very helpful. One of the most important issue is how someone else movinng a calendar event is handled.
That's for an iCloud solution. AkrutoSync doesn't use iCloud at all, a plus.
As far as I can tell it's not using any of Apples frameworks, not sync services (good, because they don't exist anymore) and not Dav (iCloud)
Am I missing something? Looks like akrutosync works just for Android or Windows phones, not iPhones.
The website says that iPhone is not officially supported yet, but it already works.
Not missing anything. I happen to find out about it from another user who said he got it working with his iPhone. I emailed Akruto support and they said it works, just not officially supported yet. Supposed to be soon.
Will I need Akrutosync to sync Outlook 2010 (which I am now syncing fine with iTunes 12.0.1 to my iPod Touch 4) to my just-ordered iPad Mini 2 with retina display via cable? I never want to put my calendar in any cloud due to security issues. Thanks.
I have Outlook 2010, iPhone 5, iPad 2 and iPad 4 (I'm nuts, I know) and it works with all of them. I'm with you on the cloud thing. That's why I picked this one to try. Plus, no USB cable or iTunes needed to sync (slows down my computer). It does it through encrypted Wi-Fi. You might want to contact support to ask about using it with iPod Touches and iPads. They can walk you through it as they helped me out. Can try it free for seven days to make sure it works and meets your needs.
Great! Thanks. I just chatted with Akrutosync and they said no problem in my syncing multiple devices, and specifically my iPod Touch 4 and my iPad mini via Akrutosync. They also explained that I only had to buy one program and not one for each device. Thanks for your help. I know I'll enjoy being free of iTunes syncing issues (that's why I'm using an old iTunes version) and cables as well. I appreciate your help.
Just saw this posted: Akruto instructions to sync Outlook with iPhone. That's exactly what I did. Works great.
Just heard from the company. As of today, it officially supports iPhone and iOS devices:

I too have had countless hours with this problem and often still do!!
to sort I made sure that I have selected my Icloud calendar as default and only checked my I cloud calendar in outlook.
often for some reason my iPhone defaults my calendar back to a google mail. thus when I now add an appointment on my pc it shows up on my iPhone and vice versa. still cant accept invites onto icloud calendar I have to drag them from my mail calendar into my I cloud.
but so far all seems to be working
Great stuff
Worked for me also
Thanks for this. I changed my default calendar to Calendar from PC and everything was synced perfectly, immediately!
