"Where to get" questions are more easily answered if you knew your approximate geographic location. It doesn't help you much if we suggest a vendor that does not conduct business in your region.
im from georgia... can you answer my question we have staples, walmart, just give me some stores to go to and ill be there for the disc
Leopard 10.5 is now so old that it is unlikely to be available anywhere except eBay or Amazon.
Great, you're in the US--you have options.
First, a long shot. Call the Apple main store at 1-800-MY-APPLE and ask for an operating system specialist. When you get one, explain t hat you need to upgrade Itunes and need "OS 10.5" (if you say "Leopard", they may get it confused with "Snow Leopard"). As recently as this past January, there were posters here saying that Apple sold them a copy of Leopard and not for the $150+ price tag you'll see on auction sites and Amazon, (and here: http://store.fastmac.com/product_info.php?cPath=10_5_7&products_id=359 ) but more like $20. NOTE that calling a local Apple retail store will not help you here--you have to get to the main phone-in store,
Worth a try.
As you search, remember there are NO downloads of Leopard, regardless of what some web site says. Most get your money, your credit card number, and your e-mail addy and send you a non-working download. Some will include malware at no extra charge. So, by no means must you attempt a download of any Mac OS.
Sometimes you can get a better price on Mac system software through a local Mac users group. Find one near you with this link:
