I have two spots completed that are 24fps. I need to convert them to 29fps. How can I do that without have to completely redo all my work?
Final Cut Pro X, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
Make a new project @29,97 and paste a copy of your 24fps project into it. Should play well at the new rate.
Alternatively, you could export @ 24 and retime it in Compressor. (It will take a while.)

You resolved my issue.
I had tried copying into a whole new project but it still kept coming out 23fps.
Where I went wrong was creating a whole new project and copying it BEFORE I set "Custom" settings, then copying it into the new project.
