White dot to right of Facebook Pages app

Can anyone tell me what the white dot to the right of the Pages app means?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4

white dot means it's updated, blue means it's a newly installed app

Hmm... Instagram was updated today, blue dot on the left. After opening app, blue dot went away. Pages white dot on right seems to be sticking around.
