Apparently Sync Manager is turned off for syncing my contacts and calendar to using Blackberry Desktop Software - how can I switch it ON?

I upgraded to Mac OS 10.9 a few months ago.

Up till then I was happily able to sync mac Contacts and Calendar to my Blackberry Curve 9320 via Blackberry's Desktop Manager (for Mac).

Since upgrading the software tells me to that Mac Sync Manager is turned off. I know it isn't because everything else is syncing.

When I hunt through your support I find that there are solutions for this problem for other Mac OS versions but not for Maverick, so please tell me how I can once again use my business phone happily as I did before upgrading!

No problem. There is a variation on the server thing in the thread I linked to earlier using a product called OwnCloud. Perhaps that?

What back up strategy is now in use with you, if any?

Thank you for posting this suggestion. I just did it - Downloaded the Contact Exporter, emailed the file and when I opened it on my Mac desktop instantly updated my contacts. So impressed, thank you - You saved me some frustration!

I have been having a problem saving the file as a .vcf and it will only save as a .vcard , how does one save the file as a .vcf?

Followed the instructions, downloaded the mail, saved it on to my Mac and opened in contacts, here is the message i got screen shot included...please advise how i should work around this
