Email attachment - moving it from one email to another to be forwarded

Hi. Here is a weird one. I am using an IPad with the most recent updates.

I received two separate emails, each with its own attachments.

Someone, who was not in the email loop, needs all the attachments. But if they receive a bunch of emails with a bunch of attachments, they will get "easily confused". (Unfortunately, the guy is our boss, so we can't cut him out of the loop!)

So, to simplify it for him, I need to forward only one email.....with both attachments.

So, how do I take the attachment from one email, and stick it to another email (which has the other attachments)?

I'm not sure what issue you are having with Google Drive, it works flawlessly for files that you have saved to it. If you saved the files to Google Drive you should be easily able to insert them in the mail. All you need to do is fill out your email as you normally would. Then click on a blank spot (I usually click right about where the cursor is at) and you'll get a black bar with options. You'll see "Add Attachment" if you click on that you'll see a window come up. In there corner there is a "Locations" button, when you click on that you'll have an option for Drive and when you click on that, you'll be in your drive.

You probably cannot do what you want with the iPad. It would be possible with a computer, but the iPad is not file oriented.

But it depends completely on what type of attachments you are talking about. For example, if the attachments happen to be photos, you could save them from the inbound emails to your iPad's Camera Roll, and then create a new email with Camera Roll attachments.

We are a group of medical device salesman. We use eFax, so the customer orders come to us via our email.

The files are .pdf, so they "should" be kind of easy to manipulate.

But they don't save to the camera roll.

I tried to save them to my Google Drive and my iCloud drive, which worked.....but no way to pull them back down into a new (or forwarded) email.

I refuse to believe that an iPad is just a toy. There has got to be a way to do this!

Any other ideas?
