disk utility downloads
Have reinstalled OS X 10.5.8 on a G5, but Utilities folder is empty. Probably emptied for disk space prior to this install. How can I get the utilities back; particularly Disk Utility:?

Hello, reapply the 10.5.8 big combo update...
Repair Permissions afterwords, reboot.
1058 Combo Update, 10.5.8...

Or, Get Pacifist...
then extract/install what you need from your Install Disc, or combo update...

I have installed the diskutility.app but when I press on it the file dosent open, how do I actually install the file.
Hi Rory, did you double click on it?
Where did you install it from?
Was it the correct version for your OSX version?
In Finder do a Get Info on it, report version, size & Rights please.
