Lost iCloud email address and password.. Help!

I have a similar issue where we have an old iPhone 4 we're giving to my kids and the "sign in to iCloud" keeps popping up. It tells us the iCloud email but we do not know the password. We forget the answers to the challenge questions and it sends the reset instructions to the iCloud email address that we cannot access.

We've already called Apple and it seems nothing can be done. Therefore this phone is pretty much useless. Is the only option to throw it in the trash at this point? It is difficult to use with that message popping up every 2 seconds

The question is not how to recover apple password, which is where you are sending her. Kara does not have the password to her icloud email account. I understand her question because i have the same question. There does not seem to be a way to recover the password for icloud.com. If you are adding that address to an Outlook account, you need the password.

An iCloud email account is an Apple ID as I stated. It may be a separate Apple account from the Apple ID you use for iTunes, but it is an Apple ID. There is no way to set up an iCloud email account that is not an Apple ID.

You can set up other types of Mail accounts in the Apple Mail app, if that is what you mean. But if you are saying that the type of Mail account it is is an iCloud Mail account, then the email address is an Apple ID.

And again, what do you mean when you say if you are "adding that address to an Outlook account"? Where are you doing this? What steps are you taking to do this? I think we need to understand what exactly you are referring to in order to get to the bottom of the issue.

I got a problema with my iphone. I can not unblock it because I forgot my icloud email and password. I have access to my my apple account. I have tried to insert a recovery phone number but to no avail. I would like to be helped on how I can retrieve my icloud and password to unblock the phone. Is there any way I can send the details of my apple account to apple for help??

I bought a second hand iphone .. I rest the phone unknowingly to me that it will ask for activation code .. now I am stock there . I can not get in touch with the previous owner . he gave me the password only to the iphone.. now I dont know what to do because I need the apple id only to the phone

Sorry, but as has been stated numerous times in this thread, unless you can contact the previous owner and have them supply the Apple ID and Password needed to remove the lock, then you are out of luck. No one can help you with this except the person who put the lock on, or someone who knows that person's Apple ID and password.
