Lost iCloud email address and password.. Help!

If I forgot my iCloud email address and password, which are different from my Apple ID, is there any way to retrieve it? I've looked everywhere thoughout the discussion boards and cannot find an answer. My phone had reset and is asking me to use only my @iCloud.com ID to restore all of the data and I cannot remember what it is, thus I cannot reactivate my phone. Does anyone know if there is any way to have this email and password sent to a different email? Again this is not my normal Apple ID which I use for iTunes and such, it is my iCloud account. If anyone has any idea how to help me I would greatly appreciate it!!

You can try to find your iCloud ID as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5625. If you are able to find it, you can reset the password as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2617.

Your iCloud email address is an Apple ID in and of itself. So, if you have forgotten the actual email that you used for iCloud, you can try to retrieve it from here: FORGOT APPLE ID.

Be aware, unless you specifically, and intentionally set up a brand new, separate iCloud ID, then your iCloud ID and your Apple ID are one in the same. They just have different appendages: @me.com, or @gmail.com, etc. and @iCloud.com....

Do you have an Apple ID that starts with "K" that you linked an iCloud account to? Every iCloud email address is linked to an Apple ID (the Apple ID was used to set up the iCloud account, so they are both the same Apple account). If you have an Apple ID that starts with a "K", then use the password for that Apple ID when it asks for the password for the iCloud.com email address.

If that "K" email address used to be what your Apple ID was, but you have since changed it, then post back and we will go through the steps to temporarily change your current Apple ID back to the old one so you can get the iCloud.com email signed out.

You can also double-check to see if this iCloud ID is attached to your Apple ID by going to Manage your Apple ID, sign in, and look at your "Alternate email addresses". If this is the Apple ID that your iCloud account is linked to you will see that iCloud email address listed toward the bottom of the page under "Alternate Email Addresses":

We cannot help you to remember your own email address and password. This is a user to user forum. We have no magical powers. This thread has provided a link for you to find your own email address several times: FORGOT APPLE ID

If you cannot retrieve your own email address and password, then Apple may be able to help you if you have the original receipt for the device.

Otherwise it will remain locked with the Activation Lock that you put on the device.

Read the post directly above yours. That is the only way to find an Apple ID that you don't remember. You must have some idea of what other email addresses you have used in the past. Try any of those that come close to the hint you are provided.

If you are unable to retrieve your own Apple ID, then the only other way to get the Activation Lock removed, is to take your device along with the original proof of purchase (i.e. receipt), and ID, and they should be able to help you. Without that original proof of purchase, there is nothing anyone can do for you.

Best of luck,

You are going to have to remember your own email address that you used for iCloud. Is that what you are indicating? That you do not remember your own iCloud ID? If so, then go to: FORGOT APPLE ID and keep trying until you find it.

Your only other remedy would be to take your original Apple Sales receipt along with a photo ID to your local Apple Store and they should be able to remove the Activation Lock.

Best of luck,

Then you will have to try to remember it. Go to FORGOT APPLE ID and try every email address you have ever had to see if you can find it.

If you have a separate, specific problem, then state it in full. This thread is 7 pages long, so aside from telling you what you need to do to find a lost Apple ID, we are not going to speculate on anything else that may be giving you issues.

Best of luck,

If you need to know your iCloud email address and you know your iCloud ID but not your password, reset the password for your iCloud ID by one of the methods explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5624. (Don't be confused the fact that this article explains how to reset the password for your Apple ID. An iCloud ID is also and Apple ID and you reset the password the same way.)

Once you reset the password you will be able sign in to manage your iCloud ID at https://appleid.apple.com/, which will show you the iCloud email address.

Whether or not your previous email address is even valid anymore is not relevant.

You do, however, need to know the password to your current Apple ID in order to follow the instructions provided.

Contact iTunes Support to have your Security Questions reset for your current Apple ID so you can proceed with the instructions as provided:
