what is the latest version of Safari I can download?
Can I get Safari 6.0 while using Snow Leopard or do I have to upgrade to Maverick first?

Safari 5.1.10 is the latest version compatible with Snow Leopard. Safari 6 requires 10.7 or 10.8, and Safari 7 is only available in 10.9.
