Should my Macbook Pro support this?

My 2011 Macbook Pro:

Processor Name: Intel Core i5

Processor Speed: 2.3 GHz

Number of Processors: 1

Total Number of Cores: 2

L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB

L3 Cache: 3 MB

Memory: 4 GB

Game:

OS: OS X version Snow Leopard 10.6.3, or later.
Processor: 1.3 GHz Intel CPU
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 3 GB
Video Card: Open GL 2.1 / Shader Model 3 capable graphics card with 256 MB video RAM

and

Minimum:

OS: 10.6
Processor: 2.0 GHz Dual Core CPU
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 200 MB available space

Recommended:

OS: 10.9
Processor: 2.4 Ghz Dual Core CPU
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Hard Drive: 200 MB available space

I usually have 2 or less Gb of available RAM. Can my computer run these?

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Your MacBook Pro supports that game without any problem. The only issue you may have is related to the GPU in case you have got a 13-inch MacBook Pro, because the integrated GPU may not work well with games, but this can be solved by setting lower game settings.

The amount of RAM required by the game refers to the total amount of RAM your Mac has got, so you can also run it. To make sure you have the maximum amount of RAM available, close all apps while you are playing. You do not need any application while you are using any game

I close all games and then use RAM cleaner to clear up little tidbits. So if it is the integrated GPU that is the problem, upgrading RAM would not help the game? What if there is no setting for lowering settings? It will just be the same?

Most games allow you to modify the image quality. If your MacBook Pro seems slow while playing, check these settings.

If you upgrade RAM, your GPU may get more RAM to use and it may improve its performance, but not a lot. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3246#intel3000

Ok so with 8 GB RAM, my GPU would use 512MB? Sorry for so many questions, but what effect if any would that have on the game?

Correct. With more RAM used by your GPU, it has got more memory to do its job, so you may experience slightly better GPU performance with the same image quality. Do not expect anything enormous

Ok thanks, image wise I am content. I like how it looks its just that in some areas I would experience lag, such as the opening credits and menus where my mouse would move slowly. Actual gameplay though was decent. Thank you for your help, in your personal opinion do you think that upgrading to 8GB would help these small issues or would it not be worth it?

It may help, but as I told you, do not expect a big improvement. Also, 8 GB may improve OS X performance if you run out of RAM quickly, and you will be able to open more applications at the same time
