Can´t connect to my Apple TV with my Mac Book.

Hi all,

I have an issue with my Airplay connection and no further ideas.

When Iam trying to connect my Mac Book Pro (late 2013) to my Apple TV (3rd gen) I get a connection error. The Apple TV is visible for the Mac Book. I have updated to the latest software version on both devices. Restart, Wi-Fi on / off, Airplay on / off and much more tips from google I have tried.

With IPhones it works fantastic!!

On my very first try to use AirPlay with the Mac Book it works fine. Every try after that fails. I have reinstalled the MAC Book with Mavericks but nothing has changed. 😟

I wish you a merry Christmas and thanks a lot in advanced!

Regards Paul

I'm having the same issue. Purchased my new macbook pro back in November. I'm starting to wonder if I just need to get in touch with apple and take advantage of my warranty. I've had this issue on and off since I've purchased it. The first time that it happened was between late december and early February. It worked great after some updates during that month and has been working great up until the last few days.

I've attempted everything suggested in the forum and still to no aveil. I'm attaching a picture to so you can see what I'm seing and hopefully someone will be able to provide a solid solution. I just wish apple would address this issue a lot more rather than letting the contributors to this forums make all the suggestions that Apple "didn't" provide.

All products are one year warranty correct? I'm happy with my product, but if I'm paying almost 3k for a laptop computer, I expected to perform the way it was hyped up to.
