Need real help with I-Touch

Wow, this really would be a problem because you have to put the unit into recovery mode and you need the home button working in order to do that.

Is your Ipod still under warranty? If so, I'd call Apple/get to apple store and get it replaced.

If its not under warranty, and you don't want to pay the OOW replacement price, the only way I know of is to jailbreak it but I don't think they allow those discussions on this forum?

I'm not advising jailbreaking for obvious reasons, but I know that you can put it into DFU mode thorugh that process.

Google "put iphone into recovery mode with broken home button" and you'll find something.

Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs and then restore via iTunes:
