So I was restoring my ipod 5, and it got to the step where the apple logo is on the screen and there is a loading bar. It accidentally got disconnected from itunes and now the bar is stuck and hasn't moved. I also can't do the recovery mode thing where you press the home buttone and sleep button, because my home button doesn't work. please help my ipod is so important to me and I really don't want it to be broken forever!!!!

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
When it says place the iPod in recovery mode
Place the iPod in recovery mode using one of these programs:

RecBoot: Easy Way to Put iPhone into Recovery Mode
If necessary:
Download QTMLClient.dll & iTunesMobileDevice.dll for RecBoot
and
For MAC or PC
The Firmware Umbrella - TinyUmbrella
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
